National Diploma in Public Relations

The National Diploma Programme in Public Relations concentrates on the relationship between public relations and various types of organisations in the public, private, voluntary sectors. Learners will examine how ‘public relations’ is an effective tool to communicate to target audience, such that organisational aims and objectives are met.

Learners will acquire a solid foundation in the functional areas of business as well as media, promotion, relationship marketing and interpersonal skills.

Graduates will have the skills needed for all marketing activities as well as being able to work with others, solve problems and improve their own learning and development.

Learners will gain valuable practical experience through an ‘On Job Learning’ work placement that prepares them for the real world of business.

Graduates of the National Diploma in Public Relations will be able to meet the professional requirements of a bilingual (English and Arabic) business environment. Graduates will have life-long learning skills so that they can advance into management careers with local and international organisations in the United Arab Emirates.
